Hercules E. Reid went from fighting for CUNY, to running for city council, to being a community leader fighting for youth, low-income communities, safe streets, and immigrants’ rights. Hercules ran for New York City Council District 45 to represent the neighborhoods of Flatbush, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Midwood, and Canarsie where he currently resides.
